It amazes me sometimes that I am
The eyes of an infinite god
A conception of a conception
Postulating infinity
Consciousness has made me aware
Of my natural perfection
Lauda a Dominum

It amazes me still that we live
Many times I watch pain and delight
And exquisite terror dissolve
Leaving only light
Circulating infinitely
Exchanging information
Halos and flame

Upon that, veils are laid
I see you but not,
For my vision is incomplete
Born consumed with questions
Such that we cannot see answers,
It is time to open our eyes
And truly be.

Divine Communication

Sometimes as we walk wasteland highways
Conduits of perception and emotion
We find in the smallest things
The sameness we crave
Pure drug, and false life
We dig ourselves into a home
And make for ourselves realities born of want.

I find in you a being so unlike myself,
So fresh in every way,
And yet,
So familiar.
Like our shadows, we follow one another
Down the labyrinth of mind
Into the quiet coves,
Resonant with understanding.

Quell your judgments.
They’ll not serve you here,
Between perception and love,
That place where minds couple
And in climax find resolution in a common thought.
You are not bad.
You merely are.
I know you like I know few others,
And though you can’t believe me,
I assure you that you knew me
Once
Until you were exiled from the coves by Father Time.

What it is I’m waiting for?
I’m waiting for you to know me
So we can begin again
In our silent, furtive meditation.
I’m waiting for you to unravel me
That I may spin myself anew
And cast the first stitch
Upon a needle of recognition.

Forget who you were and see who you are.
We are gods, rulers of entire perceptions.
Waiting for the word, we perch upon our image,
Like Harpies ready to defile ourselves in the name of You.
So, shall I pull the first thread or shall you?
When all is done, and tomorrow arrives
We can begin again, in silent meditation.
