Well, not only am I posting for a reply to my own music, but to tell more people to post songs. So, here's a start, one of my songs. The song is called 'the Silent Boy', it's as close to a single as there is on my new cd. All done myself, anyway. www.SwiftyBand.com, and if you like, download 'the Silent Boy' and hit me back.
.*-the Silent Boy-*.
He screams and everyone looks at him strangely
Everyone thinks that he’s crazy
It’s only a matter of time
until he wakes up to find that sanity was all he had
And everyone else was a madman
Creation shattered their mind
They scream, “Tell him to stop!” they scream, aching,
Ready to pop and they’re shaking
Becoming afraid of their kind
Voices to kindle the flame and let it burn, burn, burn
Pale skin, just like the rest, and his heart beats inside his chest
And they march on, steadily rattling, chanting,
Ready to battle him for peace
Just a piece of mind
Take a second just to look at the earth and let it turn, turn, turn
Torches blacken the sky
In a moments time they’ll be gathered ready to cleanse the heathen with flame if he won’t play their game
But it wouldn’t be worth it without any pain
He begs them to kindle the flame and let it burn, burn, burn.
